It would appear that they are somehow also linked to the Shadowlands via the Source, and he has been connected to his followers the entire time.

It seems that he thought your kind was mostly harmless, but when the guardian of the Source was defeated it sent a ripple out through the Source. It appears that Anansi fears you are bound to a destiny that will see you repeat the mistakes of the Xan.

We must still stop him! Even if his fears are true I fail to see how depriving you of knowledge could possibly help you reach a better decision. He may feel it is too late, but there is still a choice for your kind.

One Who Talks With The Past discovered that Anansi has been linked to his followers the entire time, and has been watching every move your kind has made. Now he tries to deprive you of the knowledge he has, by sending the stories into the Source to be lost forever.

Doch nun fangen sie an uns zu fürchten und schicken nach und nach immer mehr Teile der alten Geschichte in die Quelle zur Vernichtung.
Eure Aufgabe ist es nun, die rechte Hand Anansi zu erledigen und ihn dadurch aufzuhalten weitere Geschichten zu zerstören. Ihr erhaltet diese Aufgabe zeitgleich mit der für Anansi left hand, ihr müsst dennoch beide Quests lösen, bevor es den Reward gibt.
