<html><style type="text/css"></style></html> The May Fly Throwing Grenade is one of two throwing grenades in the game that come out of the classic AO game. The May Fly has a much higher damage than the Hedge Hog, as well as works in an area effect, but the item itself is Unique flaged so only one may be carried at a time. It gets to be a bit of a hassle to make new grenades in the field all the time, so the May Fly has largely been ignored.
The name of the grenade is an illusion to the May Fly, which after sleeping in the ground for a year comes out for three days to mate and lay eggs before dying. Like wise, when this grenade is activated it will become useless after 30 seconds.

Tradeskill Process[]
The combination of items in Anarchy Online works as follows:
Open the tradeskill window (Ctrl-t). Here you can place the two items you want to combine in the left and middle part. The resulting Item will be shown in the right area. Missing skills, or non possible combinations will be shown below. A detailed look on the resulting item is possible with a simple shift-left-click on it. It is recommended to have free inventory space before combining items, else the item will end in the overflow window.

To use the grenade you simply right click on the secured grenade to activate it, enter combat mode, target a mob, and right click on the grenade.
